Welcome to the Bus Stop Bar, Grindelwald's most popular après-ski spot, located right next to the valley run, slope no. 22. Inside our charming vintage bus from the 1960s, we offer a cozy and unique atmosphere. Relax after skiing or snowboarding and enjoy a delicious drink in good company.

Coffee Motor Oil, our house coffee with a secret recipe.
We also serve the classic Negroni hot.
Of course, a good selection of Swiss beers, wine, aperitif drinks, Gazosa, Lola Cola and much more should not be missing.
the Team
In the mornings we ski in fresh powder or in the Grindelwald First park, and in the afternoons we work together behind the bar at the bus. That's the reason for our grins at work.
We love what we do and we make the best Hot Mojito in the world.
The founder and creative mind behind the team is Erlend Gass.
The Bus
The orange "FBW" vintage bus was built in Switzerland in 1960.
The intercity bus has been running between Biel and Meinisberg since the 1960s.
In the mid-1980s, the bus was sold and converted into a camper van, traveling all over Europe.
The "Tramverein Bern" bought the vintage bus in 1999. However, due to a lack of financial resources, the restoration work was never completed.
In 2013, Erlend Gass got the chance to take over the bus. The central theme of the renovation was the 1960s, and the interior was designed with great charm in a retro/vintage style. Come by and take a look; you'll love it.
